Organization for the Service of Humanitarian Actions (OSAH a.s.b.l)

The Organization for the Service of Humanitarian Actions (OSAH) is a non-profit association registered in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and based in Goma, North Kivu.

At national level, OSAH takes part in a localization program for humanitarian action supported by international organizations. Its aim is to guide local organizations toward independence, so that they can lead humanitarian projects themselves. Local actors are closest to affected populations, understand their needs best, and remain present long after international teams leave.

Many local organizations, however, lack digital skills and tools. Without them, it is hard to manage projects, report to donors, protect data and coordinate with partners to the standards that humanitarian funding requires.

Our commitment

OSAH benefits from a Microsoft grant giving it access to Microsoft 365 platforms. Building on this, we help other NGOs adopt these tools: implementation, configuration, training and ongoing technical support. We want to make digital tools accessible to local organizations and strengthen their capacity to use them independently.
